I received my computer back in November and I have put off writing a review. I have been a little annoyed that the support staff are unable to help with Windows configuration or problems with software that they installed. With the help of google I have resolved the issues that I had. As for the hardware, I’m impressed. I have built a number of computers in the past and I considered giving this one a go, since the cost of parts was significantly less than the assembled price from Puget. I finally decided that I would splurge, and not run the risk of a failed build. The computer I chose is doing everything I expected. And I must say, being able to track the build process through the Puget web site was very cool. I would have never known to run so many diagnostics checks had I attempted the build myself. What really has sold me on Puget Systems was the after purchase care. I was having a problem with the computer rebooting every so often. It seemed to me that it happened sometimes when I pulled a USB cable out of a front panel port — one in particular. I sent the computer in for warranty repair after several rounds of email exchanges. The technicians could not replicate the problem and suspected operator error, which could be the case. They suspected that I nicked the power button when unplugging a cable. It would have been easy for them to return the unit to me unchanged, since operator error was the diagnosis. But they used real caution and replaced the front panel of ports and the on/off switch, and tested the unit out fully before returning it, once again documenting their progress on the website. It took two weeks from the time I shipped it to the time it was delivered back to me.

Simply put, I am impressed and pleased with the quality of product and the quality of service I have received so far from Puget Systems.

Puget has so far built two workstations for me, and it has always been a wonderful experience. With my most recent purchase, as always, there was clear communication and great advice re: helping me customize my computer. And, of course, the machine itself works beautifully. Even the unboxing had clear instructions to help make it as convenient and painless as possible (much appreciated, since my PC was big and heavy!). I look forward to consulting with and ordering from Puget again in the future, even though their excellent craftsmanship means it will likely take a very long time for that day to arrive!

Puget support staff was very helpful and patient in helping me repair my workstation computer that was damaged in transit. The bracket holding the video card in place was broken and the card had slipped out of its connection with the motherboard. I repaired this with replacement video card bracket and instructions from Puget’s staff.

One of the storage sticks was not consistently recognized when the computer booted up. Support staff walked me through getting the information they needed to determine which of the sticks needed replacing. They sent a replacement stick which corrected the problem.

A lot of this was happening during the Thanksgiving Holidays and I could not give the computer my complete attention. Thankfully Puget Support staff was patient, and the computer has been running very reliably after the above two actions.

It was a great experience every step of the way, from the online configurator on the website, communicating with Geno Rosario (sales), getting updates from other team members, delivery, and finally turning on the new workstation – perfect build quality and quiet operation.

When I finally was given the green light to get a “super-system” for 3D and animation, I went right to Puget Systems. I was NOT disappointed by their professionalism and response time. Working with Braden was great and he even helped me find a system that was exactly what I needed for a price that was less than I had configured. They did NOT try to gouge me and that was VERY impressive and they gained my trust AND future business.

I hold industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, CompTIA, BICSI, ETA, Siemon, and a host of others, including a BS in Information Technology and a Master’s in Information Assurance and Security. I have been around the block a few times. As a computer hobbyist now nine years ago, I built a desktop machine to be the production box in my home office, and it served me well for many years. But it was way past time for an upgrade. Despite my knowledge base and experience, the plethora of hardware choices was overwhelming, so I let Puget Systems help me out, and I’m here to say I am impressed. I’m impressed by the quality of the finished product, I’m impressed by the sales, tech support, and most of all, the customer service. The people at Puget Systems have an attention to detail that just doesn’t stop. I placed my order at the beginning of November, and even with the holiday rush of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the new box was in my hands in just over a week. After I made my purchase the assembly team was quick with updates on the progress. Altogether, I got my computer within three weeks after placing the order.
