The Logitech M500 is a medium size, wired, ergonomic mouse. It uses a corded connection, so there is no worry about running out of power or having to change batteries. The high accuracy (1000dpi) laser sensor gives good precision, and the extra thumb buttons allow customization for your specific applications or games.

William George (Marketing Project Manager) Says:
Because of the shape it is only suitable for right-handed use. I personally prefer wireless mice, so that there is no chance of the cord catching on something while you move the mouse, but if you want to keep the cost down or don't want to have to deal with charging / replacing batteries then something like the M500 is a great choice.

Jeff Stubbers (Tier 3 Sales SME) Says:
I use a Logitech mouse very similar to this one, and really like the way they feel, along with their optic sensitivity. I have tried wireless mouse options before, and they always seem to run out of batteries at the worst time. I much prefer a wired connection, as that way you don't have to worry about batteries running dead, the cost of replacement batteries, hazardous material issues with expired batteries, or potential input lag.

From personal experience I'm a big fan of Logitech equipment and I've been using the same Logitech mouse for the last 6 years. It's still going strong!
