Auburn, WA (April 5, 2022) – Puget Systems (www.pugetsystems.com) today announced a new family of accessible, small form factor NUC workstations featuring Intel’s Core 12th Gen processor platform. These powerful, portable and affordable workstations are ideally suited to users who require extremely high performance, reliability and portability, but in an affordable configuration for such applications as on-set virtual production,  medical facilities and even animation and 3D modeling applications.

Additionally with this announcement, Puget Systems is offering customers an option for an up to three year full replacement warranty option for the new NUC workstations, which mean that customers have the option to contact technical support team to work through initial troubleshooting and to confirm a hardware failure, and then have the option to get an identical or better system sent to as a replacement.

Puget Systems Dragon Canyon NUC Systems: The Details

Puget Systems Dragon Canyon NUC small form factor systems feature Intel’s Core 12th Gen processor platform with their compact Dragon Canyon NUC compute element and chassis. The Core line is Intel’s mainstream CPU family, offering up to 24 threads on an affordable platform, and the specific model included here is the Core i9 12900.

The Dragon Canyon NUC chassis has USB and audio ports along the bottom front, while the rear I/O panel provides more USB ports, Thunderbolt 4, additional audio connectivity, and both 10Gb Ethernet and WiFi for networking. The interior of the case is very limited, due to its small size, but there is a PCI-Express slot and enough room for one dual-width video card. For memory and storage, up to 64GB of RAM and three NVMe SSDs are supported. There are also several fans to keep components cool while minimizing noise.
