Built using the same underlying architecture as the Xeon 6 series for servers, Xeon 600 processors are Intel’s latest offering for high-end desktop and rackmount workstations. Equipped with up to eight memory channels, tons of PCI-Express lanes for connectivity, and more cores per dollar than the competition, Xeon 600 is a solid platform for a wide range of development workflows and professional applications.
