Overview
We have partnered with Comino to utilize their advanced liquid-cooling systems in this Puget Systems-built server. It is equipped with an AMD EPYC™ processor and supports up to eight NVIDIA GPUs in a 4U rackmount chassis. This approach to cooling allows for lower noise levels than a traditional server with this kind of hardware, and although it is still far from silent it can be used in a wider range of locations than an air-cooled server.
The design of this chassis is a bit unique, in that the motherboard and video card I/O panels are facing forward – rather than toward the back. This makes accessing ports and connectivity easy, though wiring in a rack may need to be adjusted if it has been previously set up for use with traditional servers.
220-240V power is required for this system to operate at full wattage.
