Partnership with Fenner Rockliffe

Fenner Rockliffe is a British Columbia local who grew up a few hours north of Vancouver in the town of Whistler.

After completing his secondary school education at Whistler Secondary School, he attended Think Tank Training Centre in North Vancouver to further his education in film and study VFX, animation, and game design.

Years later Fenner taught at his alma mater while also working as a Compositing Supervisor and look development artist in the global VFX industry at studios such as WETA FX, Crafty Apes & CVD VFX.

As a compositing supervisor, Fenner worked on a wide array of projects ranging from premiere television and commercial work, to high-budget feature-length films, and triple-A video game cinematics.

He now works as a freelance VFX Supervisor and content director with Corridor Digital.

Halo: Cold Storage is a Corridor Digital production created by Fenner Rockliffe and Jonah Kaplan.

The animated short-film is an entirely CG piece which requires extensive use of high end rendering hardware for Blender and Nuke.
“The team at Puget Systems hooked us up with some incredible workstations tailored directly to our needs for these renders. It wouldn’t have been possible to even get this project off the ground if we weren’t able to just blast through these renders”
