Overview
Intel’s Xeon® 600 is a workstation-oriented processor line, offering up to 86 cores and DDR5 ECC memory on a robust and reliable platform. This system is built in a 4U chassis with three USB ports on the front, including one Type C, while the motherboard’s rear I/O panel provides the bulk of the connectivity (more USB, audio, and networking). Internally there is a lot of space, supporting a wide range of options including up to three video cards, up to 1TB of RAM, and multiple solid-state and hard drive configurations. There are also powerful fans to ensure everything stays well cooled, but without the noise-dampening features a tower workstation can offer.
