AMD Ryzen Workstations

The Ryzen CPU family is AMD’s mainstream processor line, but these chips rival the performance of high-end desktop (HEDT) models from other manufacturers.

AMD’s Ryzen 7000 Series of processors are the first chips to feature their new Zen 4 microarchitecture, built on a 5nm manufacturing process. These CPUs focus on providing great per-core performance, with boost speeds in excess of 5GHz, while maintaining the excellent multi-threaded processing which AMD has become known for. This generation also introduced support for DDR5 memory, AVX-512, and PCI-Express 5.0. Ryzen excels in most applications and covers a wide range of price points, but if you want something bigger, AMD’s Threadripper PRO CPUs offer even more cores, memory channels, and PCIe lanes.
