Overview

This powerful workstation features a pair of AMD’s EPYCâ„¢ processors, providing a tremendous amount of CPU performance and memory bandwidth for simulations, solvers, and other scientific applications. Each EPYC supports twelve memory channels, for a combined 24 channels and up to 2.25TB of RAM capacity in this system. This platform also supports a lot of PCI-Express lanes, but because of how much space the dual CPUs and their memory slots take up there are only a few expansion slots available for video cards and other devices.
