Overview
We have partnered with Comino to utilize their advanced liquid-cooling systems in this Puget Systems-built rackmount workstation. AMD’s Threadripper PRO 9000WX CPUs are ideal for applications which need a lot of cores, high memory capacity / bandwidth, and support for a large number of PCI-Express lanes. Comino’s 4U chassis allows this platform to support up to seven video cards, far more than an air-cooled system could, along with a wide range of drives and RAM configurations.
The design of this chassis is a bit unique, in that the motherboard and video card I/O panels are facing forward – rather than toward the back. This makes accessing ports and connectivity easy, though wiring in a rack may need to be adjusted if it has been previously set up for use with traditional servers.
220-240V power is required for this system to operate at full wattage.
