Overview
Intel’s Core Ultra line is their mainstream CPU family, featuring up to 24 cores and high per-core clock speeds on an affordable platform. This system is built in a slim 2U chassis with two USB Type-A ports on the front, while the motherboard’s rear I/O panel provides the bulk of the connectivity (more USB, audio, and networking). Internal space is limited, but thanks to the included PCI-Express 4.0 riser a single video card can be installed – even the high-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090! The motherboard supports up to 256GB of memory, as well as three M.2 slots for high-speed storage, while the chassis includes a redundant 1200W power supply and sliding rail kit.
A system this compact can only fit small fans, though, which in turn have to spin fast and loud to provide sufficient cooling. As such, this rackmount workstation gets very loud – especially under heavy load.
