For Blender users who focus heavily on rendering, this system offers higher CPU core counts and more video cards (GPUs) than our standard workstation. Single-core performance is lower, though, and overall cost is substantially higher – so this configuration is only worthwhile if you need more than two GPUs or 128GB of memory.
Note that this platform does not currently support Thunderbolt. However, 10G networking is built-in so all expansion slots can be dedicated to GPUs if desired.
If you are not sure which hardware choice is right for you we recommend reading through the Recommended Hardware section. And as always, don’t hesitate to contact one of our sales consultants if you require assistance or a hardware configuration that is not covered by our recommended systems.
