Overview

This small form factor system is a solid choice for modeling in ZBrush. It is built on Intel’s Core processor platform, utilizing their compact Dragon Canyon NUC compute element and chassis. The specific CPU model included here is the Core i7 13700K, with 16 cores and 24 threads. It also supports internal graphics, which can be viable for ZBrush if no other, more demanding 3D applications are being used alongside it.

The NUC chassis is shaped like a miniature tower PC with USB and audio ports along the top edge, while the rear I/O panel provides more USB ports, Thunderbolt 4, additional audio connectivity, and both 2.5 & 10Gb Ethernet and WiFi for networking. Internally there is room for a dedicated video card, up to 64GB of RAM, three NVMe SSDs, and one or two SATA drives. There are also plenty of fans to keep components cool without being too loud.
