Jon Bach
President
|
Jon Bach began his career with a local printing company, where he worked his way up from being temporary labor to being a full-time service representative. When the company needed a fleet of computers, he was selected as the project coordinator and computer systems manager. That opportunity lead to the responsibility of the company's website creation and to managing their internal systems. The experience and confidence he gained from these responsibilities are what made Puget Custom Computers possible. A great deal of time was spent on the design of Puget's website before the company even was registered and open for business.
Jon is a former student of the University of Washington, where he studied physics. He is an avid trumpet player of 18 years, and enjoys nothing more than the opportunity to volunteer for any church orchestra or musical he can find. From 2001-2002 he was section leader for the Husky Marching Band trumpet section. He married his wonderful wife in 2004, and they have entered the exciting world of parenthood recently with the birth of their son. They enjoy working together behind the scenes to keep the company going!

Richard Millard
General/Sales Manager
|
Richard Millard has been a great all-around guy for Puget Custom Computers. Since June of 2003, he's worked in almost every department, including web design, production, shipping, inventory, RMA and delivery. He started as our delivery driver, and quickly moved into sales. When we had grown enough to have multiple sales representatives, he was promoted to sales manager, aiming to make sure that every customer got the service that we're so proud of. The great job he did there more recently earned him the promotion to general manager, expanding his responsibilities to make sure that not only are we giving the best sales service possible, but the best support and behind-the-scenes operation as well!
Coming from the tiny town of Camas Washington, Richard attended the University of Washington where he played Trumpet and met Jon Bach. His favorite hobbies are bicycling, basketball, cooking, and of course – computers.

William George
Customer Service
|
William George signed on at Puget Custom Computers in October of 2005, as the company needed someone dedicated to overseeing inventory and computer assembly. He soon found his niche here in sales and customer service. He brought over 17 years of personal experience with computers to the company, from his early years growing up on an IBM Personal Computer (8086) to the last few years which he spent building and fixing computers for friends and family. William recently moved closer to Des Moines, a Seattle suburb just up the hill from our facility in Kent. He lives there with his lovely wife Rose and their rather spoiled dogs Ringo and Baxter. He enjoys movies, games, and reading, along with working on computers (even in his off time!).

Perry Azevedo
Customer Service
|
Perry Azevedo is the newest team member at Puget Custom Computers, having started April 1st, 2007. Even though he is one of our two idealistic Mac guys in the office (Chris being the other), he actually started his PC experience programming BASIC on a Commodore 64 and then later moved on to an IBM with an Intel i486 processor and DOS/Windows 3.1. He was one of the first webmail users with a Rocketmail email account and built his first website, Christian Guitar Online in 1997 when he was 14. Since then, Perry has dabbled in everything from photo editing to web design and programming (HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript) to digital music recording to video editing to network and computer troubleshooting to modding Xboxes. Perry did a yearlong internship straight out of high school with Douglas County as their Webmaster and MIS Technician. He now maintains his own personal website (www.perryazevedo.com) as well as several other sites he is currently developing.
Perry attended Greenville College where he studied live sound reinforcement, music, and digital audio recording. He is an avid guitar player who's played in various rock and indie bands throughout high school and college as well as led various bands and ensembles in several churches. In the winter, he can be found up in the mountains as he is an aggressive snowboarder. Despite his busy schedule, he always finds time to enjoy a good movie or theology book and will never pass down an opportunity to enjoy a good philosophical discussions over a brew or pipe.

Wilson Chau
Customer Service
|
Wilson Chau joined Puget Custom Computer Systems in May of 2002 to assist in sales, technical support, and assembly. A graduate of the University of Washington, Wilson has had 15 + years of computer experience. His first computer was a Mac IIcx and at that time, he was an avid Mac enthusiast. During college, however, at the urging of Jon Bach as well as the overwhelming population of PC compatible machines at the computer labs, Wilson caved in and converted his ways. Though Wilson recommends and prefers PCs, he has not lost his fondness for Macs. He served as both the Mac and PC tech lead for a computer lab during his college years. Wilson is currently MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator), CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+ certified. He recently obtained his MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) certification.
Besides working with computers, Wilson enjoys watching the 3 major sports (baseball, basketball, and football) as well as watching college football. He is a die-hard Mariners fan even when they stink. Now that's loyalty! Another favorite activity of Wilson's is watching movies. He has probably seen every movie that you have watched (well, at least the more recent ones). Wilson is also recently married. He and his wife Gina were married early in the Summer of 2006. Feel free to drop Wilson an email anytime! He is always eager to assist you in all your computer needs.

Heather Taylor
Support Manager
|
Heather is our director of Customer Care, meaning that she's responsible for making sure that all of our customers are getting the attention and resolution that they're looking for. She's our public voice on forums, and in general, just a fun person to work with.
She has extensive background in technical support and problem solving. Prior to working for Puget, she's been in the same position at a different system builder on the east coast, and an area manager for a large onsite computer support company. She's been working as a senior technician since 1998, and we really value the depth of her knowledge in the computer field.
Heather is the mother of three children, Christopher, Catherine and Lily. In her spare time, she enjoys the culinary arts, reading, history, and some face-melting gaming!

Melissa Hermanson
Director of Inventory
|
Melissa Hermanson used to work part-time in the production department, assembling computers during college breaks. It was a great place to work, so when Jon offered her a job on graduation from Houghton College in 2007, she couldn’t have been happier! She’s now keeping an eye on inventory, and attending to a hundred and one other details that help Puget Custom Computers run smoothly behind the scenes. She’s working towards an A+ certification (hopefully by the end of the summer!) and has dreams of a career in network administration. In her spare time, she enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy (favorites include Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Robin McKinley, Timothy Zahn, Michael Stackpole, and Orson Scott Card, just to name a few).

|

Matthew Bach
Production Manager
|
Matt Bach joined Puget Custom Computers as it grew in 2002, by providing his services in computer assembly. He is a member of the Husky Marching Band in the baritone section. As a euphonium player, he has advanced to state level competition on multiple occasions, and has plans to continue his musical career after college.
His experience with all aspects of our production process (from inventory to assembly to testing) and his attention to detail quickly earned him the position of lead production technician. This means that if your build is particularly complicated or high end, he'll likely be the one to build it! As we continued to expand our staff to meet demand, he was promoted to our production manager. When not tackling the more exotic builds, he spends most of his time managing our production department and constantly improving our techniques and quality control measures.

and obsessively-compulsively surfing the web.

Ken Taylor
Production Technician
|
Kenny started messing with computers in 1980 when he got a new Tandy TRS-80 for Christmas. He went into diesel mechanics, but never stopped building and playing with computers. He finally left the world of trucks behind in 2006 and started working at another boutique systems manufacturer as a Quality Control Manager. An avid gamer, modder, and overclocker, he still builds his own systems as well as computers for Puget.
