Micron's 7450 PRO line of NVMe solid-state drives offer a combination of high-capacity and high-speed storage for demanding workloads. These U.3 NVMe drives are built for PCI-Express 4, with very fast read and write performance, and are housed in a 2.5-inch form factor for easy installation in tower and rackmount systems. This 15.36TB model is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 6.8GB/s and write speeds up to 5.6GB/s when used connected to a Gen4 controller. If used on an older Gen3 connection instead, those transfer rates drop roughly in half. Either way, real-world speeds will be lower and depend heavily on the application in use.
