This rackmount system features Intel’s 13th Gen Core processor platform with a standard ATX size motherboard, but in a server-style chassis for rack and datacenter installations. The Core line is Intel’s mainstream CPU family, offering up to 24 threads with a focus on high per-core clock speeds and single- or lightly-threaded workloads.
Three USB ports are present on the front of this system, including one Type C, while the motherboard’s rear I/O panel provides the bulk of the connectivity (more USB, audio, and networking). Internally there is a lot of space, and wide range of options are supported internally – including up to 128GB of memory alongside multiple solid-state and hard drive configurations. There are also powerful fans to ensure everything stays well cooled, but without the noise-dampening features a tower workstation can offer.
