The Fractal Define R5 is a hugely versatile case and installing additional devices is fairly easy and straight forward. In this article we will cover removal and installation of your video card. Replace GPU

This section will cover the removal of a video card on your Puget System

Step 1:

Start by grounding yourself

Step 2:

Remove all power going into your system and orient yourself from the rear of the system

Step 3:

Remove the 2 thumb screws securing right hand side panel, push the lever down and slide panel off chassis

Step 4:

Lay the system on it's side then locate the video card

Step 5:

Remove the power cables going into the video card

Step 6:

Remove the two thumb screws securing the video card into the case

 

Step 7:

With the screws removed we can now release the PCIe latch that holds the video card in the motherboard then pull the video card away from the motherboard and remove from the system

Step 8:

To install a new GPU simply reverse the steps and you're up and running
