Astrid Harmon

Graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Computer Science. Studied Japanese and Graphic Design for >5 years each, and has been building PCs since she was 10!
Previously picking up soldering while working at a used technology store, Astrid has taken that skill and combined it with her love for thrifting, and now spends a lot of her free time working on repairing or doing custom modifications on things like cassette players, many types of cameras, CRTs, computers, and more.
Astrid is excited to apply what she's picked up in her tinkering and education to deliver quality systems while continuing to grow and hone her skills.
Her most recent project came after the board for her first boombox died, so she took the motor and mechanical parts out and retro-fit them to a similar model that had a working board but a busted motor.
When not nose-deep in various tech, she can be found hiking, at local music shows, digging through consignment stores, taking care of animals, trying her hand at mixology, and playing D&D.
