About Us

Puget Systems is based in the Seattle suburb of Auburn, WA, and specializes in high-performance custom built computers. We emphasize customization over every aspect of each computer, offering personal consulting and support that is becoming quite rare in the industry. Our goal is to provide each client with the best possible computer for their needs and budget.

"It was important that this would do the job out of the box without any drama. Puget's great sales and support helped me choose the right system to handle the workload, with reliable hardware to minimize downtime." – Jenna at Verrix

Recommended Hardware for SOLIDWORKS

Like most software packages, there is a list of system requirements (including a detailed list for video cards) that can be used to help ensure the hardware in your system will work with their software. However, most "system requirements" lists tend to cover only the very basics of what hardware is needed to run the software, not what hardware will actually give the best performance.

Because of how inconsistent those lists can be, we've taken the time to perform testing to determine what hardware runs SOLIDWORKS the best. Based on this testing, we have come up with our own list of recommended hardware.

In this free ebook you’ll discover:

  • What separates the “right” PC manufacturer from the rest.
  • How to choose the best CPU for a Modeling Workstation or a Simulation & Rendering Workstation.
  • How to choose the correct Quadro card for your workstation.
  • And much more…
