Overview
The Xeon W is one of Intel’s workstation-oriented processor families, offering up to 56 cores and DDR5 ECC memory on a highly reliable platform. This system is built in a 4U chassis with three USB ports on the front, including one Type C, while the motherboard’s rear I/O panel provides the bulk of the connectivity (more USB, audio, and networking). Internally there is a lot of space, supporting a wide range of options including up to four video cards, up to 512GB of RAM, and multiple solid-state and hard drive configurations. There are also powerful fans to ensure everything stays well cooled, but without the noise-dampening features a tower workstation can offer.
