THEN: - before Puget -
I got an early start with computers due to my Uncle running a local business that built computers and offered support. (I remember playing SkiFree on Win 3.1 like mad.) I was that guy in High School that built computers for all his friends and hosted LAN parties for Counter-Strike and Age of Empires. During this time I also got into Linux and Open Source Software. Upon graduation from High School, I got a job providing onsite tech support and system administration for a small school district and other organizations. After that job moved out of state, I started my own business with a friend which lasted for about a year before I began some college. Eventually, I made my way to Puget!

NOW: - here at Puget -
Now I work in the Production department at Puget; making sure that all of our customers are well taken care of and their computers keep running great!

MY FIRST COMPUTER:
The first computer I ever owned was an old IBM Pentium 133 with Windows 95 installed. I got it for $100 at a local electronics swap meet. The first computer I ever built was an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ with 512mb of RAM and a GeForce 2MX 400.

MY DREAM COMPUTER:
Impossible at the moment. Fanless. Silent. Eats modern games for breakfast. Great single-core performance and high frequency (12gHz+). Custom Linux kernel and harware-specific custom software. 3D interactive environment that utilizes reverse double parallaxing technologies and allows users to manipulate games and other software in realtime.

RECOMMENDED SOFTWARE/GAME(S):
Linux OS Software reccomendations:
Distro - ArchLinux, CentOS or Ubuntu
Apps- Steam, LibreOffice, Wine, Chromium Web Browser, Oracle Ksplice, etc

Microsoft OS Software Reccomendations:
Anti-Virus: Eset NOD32
Web Browser: Maxthon Cloud Browser or Google Chrome
Utilities: TeraCopy, WinDirStat, Infrarecorder, PuTTY
Mail Client: Thunderbird
Media: K-Lite Codec Pack
Compression: WinRAR
Games/Other: Steam, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Insurgency, Age of Empires II HD, Killing Floor, DiRT3, Torchlight 2, Grim Dawn, etc.

LIFE: - outside Puget's walls -
I am an avid guitar player and love to perform if I can. I'm also really into gaming on the PC and enjoy hosting LAN parties to this day. If not doing either of those two things, you can find me enjoying time with my family and friends.
