We are looking for a Software Developer 3 to join our growing team!

Even when we do not have any open positions, or positions you’re interested in, below are roles we commonly hire for.
If you are interested in one of these positions, keep checking back here for the next time we post a position!

Technology Consultants

Our consultants are responsible for all customer help before a sale is made. They enjoy a very close dynamic with our customers, working with them closely to design the best computer for them, based on their needs and budget. Often it will mean introducing the customer to new ideas and ways of achieving what they want, in a way that we might know will provide a better overall computing experience. It means weighing what they want, and what experience you have, to provide the best computer possible!

A good deal of this interaction is by email, but also includes phone calls. It is a specific concern that we maintain excellent availability and response time to our customers. We need people that are self-motivated, and who truly enjoy helping people. After all, a custom computer is a significant investment that deserves good care and attention!

Support Representative

Our support representatives take over the responsibility of customer care once an order is placed. When customers have questions or need help, our support team is on call! This position also involves frequent emails, but tends to be more phone calls. Again, it is a specific concern that we maintain excellent availability and response time to our customers. Within the allowances of our warranty policies, it is the job of our support team to solve our customers’ problems as thoroughly and quickly as possible.

Our support team is also responsible for keeping a close eye on any trends we might be seeing in our support requests, and responding quickly to inform our sales staff if there are any problematic configurations we should be avoiding. We have a detailed system for making this happen, and it is a very important role in the custom computer business. After all, the best support department is the one you never have to call!

Production Technician

We’re not a good computer builder unless we have a great build crew! This critical team takes care of our inventory, prioritizing and performing our computer builds, thoroughly testing the finished systems, and packing them safely for shipping. Our production technicians not only are responsible for cleanly building Puget Systems computers, but also have to be very responsive to learning what customers are looking for from the sales staff, and what problems they can help prevent from the support staff.

Regardless of the type of position you’re looking for, if you are self-motivated, with strong leadership skills and an interest in helping us develop Puget Systems into a more and more successful company, we encourage you to consider joining our team! Keep checking this page to see when we post an open position!
