Puget Custom Computers is able to ship a majority of all build to order computers and servers within 2 weeks, and it is the purpose of this page to provide you with the details of our delivery schedule so you are as informed as possible.

Our Schedule

There are three phases to every purchase -- parts acquisition, assembly/testing, and shipping. While we stock many parts, there are frequently situations where we need to order parts to complete a build. It should be noted that we keep more parts in stock for our brand name systems while the more custom options have a higher probability of needing to have parts ordered. Once all the parts have arrived, our assembly, installation, and testing processes usually take only 2-3 days. While we make every effort to complete your build as quickly as possible, we believe a job should be done thoroughly and meticulously.

When the computer leaves our door, the amount of time it takes to reach you depends solely on the shipping method you choose when you place the order. UPS/FedEx transit times are rarely missed, but are guaranteed only by the carrier and you must pursue a refund with them if your shipment is late. All shipments are fully insured, and in the rare event of shipping damages, Puget Custom Computers will handle the entire claim process so that you don't have to. Please note that all our packages are shipped with a signature requirement for security.

Possible Delays

Multiple OS configurations, overclocked computers, and custom Linux installations will take 1-2 days additional assembly and testing time. Beyond that, there are two main things that can delay our delivery time -- billing problems and backordered parts. Our order process begins when the billing process is complete, so a problem with your credit card may delay your order. It is not unusual for credit card purchases of this size to have problems (usually minor problems -- address mismatches, or security flags due to the high value of our transactions), so we strongly recommend you do not wait until the last minute to place your order. A supply problem with backordered parts may also cause a delay to your order. Getting your build to order computer, server, or mini pc to you on time is a high priority to us. If we anticipate a problem, we will inform you when you place your order, but some problems are unforeseen and can cause delays that we do not expect.


All timelines shown on our website are counted in business days. Weekends and holidays are not counted on any timeline.


Our stated delivery times are shown only as a guide to help you know what to expect. Though a majority of our deliveries make these deadlines, we do not guarantee it and do not issue refunds or discounts if your order is delayed. Rest assured, we do strive to make our delivery deadlines 100% of the time as we know this is extremely important to you! You may change your shipping option up until the day your order is shipped.

Order Tracking

When you place your order, we will send you a confirmation email. This email will contain instructions on how you can track our progress through your order status page on our website. When your computer ships, we email you a tracking number so you can see exactly where your package is. You can also track your shipment through a link on your order status page.
