This USB cable/adapter connects a rear panel USB port to the internal female 5-pin connector of a typical front panel USB port. The cable can exit through an unused PCI-slot opening in the case and plugs into one of the USB ports located at the back of the PC. Alternately, this cable can be connected to the internal port (USB type A female) of some USB controller cards. For dual USB applications, 2 of these cables are required. The cable is compatible with both USB 1.1 (standard) and USB 2.0 (high-speed).
