Supermicro 1U SuperServer 1028GQ-TRT

The Supermicro 1028GQ-TRT is a barebones 1U server designed to provide a combination of CPU and co-processor computing in a compact, rackmount form factor. It comes with a proprietary motherboard that supports dual Xeon E5 V4 series processors and a unique layout inside the system which allows for four dual-width PCI-Express cards. These are mounted such that any actual outputs from them are not accessible, cementing the intended usage of the system: computation, not graphics output. There is also a single, half-height PCI-E slot for adding functionality.

This variant includes dual 10Gb Ethernet ports built into the motherboard, making it ideal for use in locations with high speed network infrastructure or where large amounts of data will be stored outside the computer itself.
