The EVGA SuperNOVA 1600W P+ is a massive, 80 PLUS Platinum-certified power supply unit. Like the other P2 models in the SuperNOVA line, it has completely modular wiring and an "ECO" switch which sets the fan to only turn on under moderate to heavy load - so that it is silent at idle / low load levels. However, when the fan does come on this particular model is somewhat noisy (much more so than the lower-wattage models).
