Case Fans Upgrade Kit (Quiet Fixed-speed)

Additional Cooling

Case Fans Upgrade Kit (Quiet Fixed-speed) Picture 36356
The primary goal of this kit is to minimize case fan noise. To accomplish this we replace all 120mm and 140mm stock fans with quieter models, along with adding any additional fans that might be worthwhile to ensure a well-ventilated system. Each case is designed differently and every order is unique. Selecting this option gives our build team the flexibility to make sure that the computer you purchase has the most appropriate configuration of cooling fans.

We currently use Noctua fans for this kit, but as we discover new, quieter fans, the brand may change (it also can vary depending on the size of fans the case needs). In most instances this kit will involve at least two fans, and sometimes as many as four. We won't always put fans in every possible spot in the case - as sometimes the extra airflow is either unnecessary or not worth the extra noise. If you have specific requests for fan placement please contact your sales rep.

These fans are QUIET. We already sell a lot of quiet components, but no other fans get down to this level. At the slow speeds we run these fans, you have to have your ear right up to them to hear them.

One of the first steps to make a system quiet is to make the fans as quiet as possible. Almost every system needs fans to keep components cool (even liquid-cooled systems), and they can easily be the loudest part of a computer. This kit lets our experienced production team decide what your particular configuration needs in terms of cooling and replace or adjust the fans accordingly. It is worth noting, though, that some cases come with quiet fans to begin with; Fractal Design's cases in particular are like that, so if you aren't sure if you need these feel free to check with our sales staff.

I've worked with a lot of fans over the years and these ones are incredible! They're VERY quiet and I've never found a bad one. I'd highly recommend adding Noctuas if you're concerned about noise.
