LibreOffice Picture 20219
LibreOffice is the power-packed free, libre and open source personal productivity suite for Windows, Macintosh and GNU/Linux, that gives you six feature-rich applications for all your document production and data processing needs: Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math and Base.

Not to mention, of course, that it's free. We are also happy to install it for you. This allows you to receive your computer without any need for long downloads and installations. This suite is an alternative to MS Office.

Excellent alternative to MS Office. It's free, so you might as well give it a try to see if it will work for you.

I have been using Libre Office for a few months now having made the switch from Microsoft Office. I have been using it here at Puget since day one. Microsoft Office is a great product but I like the look and feel of Libre as it is reminiscent of Office 2003 (File,Edit,View,Insert, Etc) and the earlier models before Office introduced the ribbon styling. I also love the price! Also I can read and save in Office 97/2000/XP/2003/2007/2010/2013 formats so that it can read and write and be compatible. Of course I am not sure if all Office features can be read properly But I have not noticed an issue yet myself!

While neither the LibreOffice team nor Puget Systems charges for the installation and use of this software, we do encourage you to make a donation to the developers if you find LibreOffice useful. You can do so by following the directions on the LibreOffice donation page.

Configure a small form factor PC with the LibreOffice.
