AMD Ryzen 9000 Series

This update brings AMD’s Zen 5 CPU architecture to the mainstream Ryzen processor family, delivering increased efficiency and performance per clock.

Overview of AMD Ryzen 9000 Series Processors

AMD’s Ryzen family of desktop processors has been a solid gaming and workstation CPU line for many years now. The new Ryzen 9000 Series, announced for availability in July 2024, brings AMD’s latest 4nm “Zen 5” architecture with improvements to both performance per clock and power efficiency.

These new CPUs will be able to slot directly into existing motherboards with socket AM5, making this an easy upgrade option for those with current-gen Ryzen systems. Many of the latest technologies are supported, including DDR5 memory, PCI-Express 5.0, and more!
